A Community of Care

How are you holding up?
I have been meaning to reach out for the last couple of days, but have found it so difficult to find the words to express the heartbreak, sadness and anger that I am feeling after yet another horrific event. My deepest condolences to all the families impacted by the gun violence at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX.
I have found that during challenging times, it is helpful to reach out to friends and relatives to acknowledge the difficulty of the moment, seek support and offer comfort whenever possible.
Connecting with this “community of care” is necessary to recognize our shared humanity, heal and continue to nurture a compassionate heart. We cannot get numb in front of these violent events. We must join forces to seek a different and better future for our children.
My hope is that you will reach out to connect and heal with others. I’ll be here if you need me.
Sending everyone love and healing,
Lorea
